Hi, I’m Meg, the baker behind Miami Springs Bakehouse.

Miami Springs Bakehouse started the way a lot of good things do: with cookies. I’ve always loved baking them and sharing them with friends, family, and coworkers. Over the years, people would ask me the same question: “Do you take orders?” For a long time, the answer was no. Eventually, I decided to say yes.

That became Miami Springs Bakehouse, a small-batch home bakery inspired by the community I’m lucky to call home. Everything is baked in my kitchen here in Miami Springs, using recipes I’ve tested, tweaked, and probably overthought until they were exactly right. And I always use organic ingredients when available.

The Springs is woven into the Bakehouse, which is why the cookies are named after familiar parts of our neighborhood. I want each one to feel a little nostalgic, a little special, and unmistakably local.

When I’m not baking, I’m an attorney and a mom. The Bakehouse is my creative outlet and, more than anything, a way to keep doing what started all of this in the first place: baking something I love and sharing it with other people.
